Terms and Conditions

Quotations
We ask that to provide an accurate quote you include the date, location and number of guests. If any of these details are not known we ask for provisional ideas. If we are available and you are within our catchment area we will provide you with a quotation for your event by email. If you'd like us to hold the date for you please let us know within 5 days. Certain dates are very popular and we cannot guarantee to hold a date, until it has been mutually confirmed. As a small seasonal business certain dates will have minimum spends.

Guest numbers
Prices are quoted based on the estimate provided by you as to the number of guests attending the function and may include a guaranteed minimum number of guests agreed at the time of booking or a set minimum spend. Changes to the number attending should be made as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate them. If the number of guests decreases more than 15% we reserve the right to increase the cost per person.

Allergens
We ask to be made aware of any guest allergies at the time of booking or at least 7 days before the event. We will make every effort to avoid cross contamination and provide a allergen list to you beforehand if requested. We will have all allergen information available on the day. Once we have provided all allergy information, we cannot be held responsible for your guests food choices on the day. If your guest has a life threatening allergy, we strongly suggest they should have an effective EpiPen with them and be particularly careful with their food choices, especially if they have been drinking alcohol.

Paella cookery and leftovers
The paella will be cooked on site and is designed to be eaten hot within about 1hr. Due to the nature of rice it is recommended that leftover paella is disposed of, however if you choose to keep leftovers we strongly recommend that the rice is refrigerated as soon as possible and either eaten within 24hr or frozen and eaten within a month. In the event that you choose to keep leftovers we will provide a reasonable number of containers.

Canapes and Tapas
Our canapes and tapas buffets are designed to be eaten at your event. Cold canapes and tapas should be eaten within 4 hrs, hot tapas should be eaten within 2 hrs. We cannot recommend keeping leftovers.

Food Shortages
Due to disruption with distribution, adverse weather or trade barriers there may be a situation where a certain ingredient is not available. We will always try our best to obtain the ingredient but in the rare cases that this is not possible we reserve the right to substitute a comparable ingredient.

Deposits & Payments
We may ask for a deposit to confirm your booking, this will usually be 25% of the final balance. Unless otherwise stated the deposit will be fully refundable (minus VAT) if cancelled at least 60 days before the event.
The remaining balance is to be paid on the morning of the event, at least 3hrs before the paella is to be served, unless otherwise arranged.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for payment to the wrong account if we have provided the correct account details.

Rearrangements
If your wedding has to be rearranged we will do our very best to be available for the new date. In a small number of circumstances this may not be possible, in that case we will refund your deposit (minus VAT) if the cancellation is at least 60 days before.

Logistics
We require vehicle access to the site area to off load and parking available for our Vauxhall Vivaro. We ask that access roads for our vehicles and loading bays are made free on request for our use. We will clearly state the space we require and if any other facilities are required.

Insurance and certification
We follows strict HACCP guidelines for all food production, handling, storage and distribution. Both partners have food hygiene level 3 certificates. We are registered with Cotswold Borough Council and have a food hygiene rating of 5. We are a member of NCASS. We have Public Liability Insurance of £5m to cover our activities. Our burners are LGP gas certified. We are insured to cook outdoors or indoors with ventilation. We bring a fire extinguisher. Copies of our certificates are available upon request.

On site cooking
We take care not to damage any area within the event but if any damage is caused by us within the normal services provided you release us from any and all responsibility for such damage. You agree that any spills, stains or any other unforeseen damage is not our responsibility and we are not liable for any repairs or financial loss. If you have animals or small children please keep them away from the paella area during the cookery for their own safety.

Extreme Weather
We cannot accept responsibility for difficulties in preparation caused by extreme weather. We have a heavy duty catering gazebo, water weights and sandbags therefore up to 20 mph winds should not be a problem. If we are expecting 20-40 mph winds we ask that grass be provided for our 6m x 3m heaviest duty gazebo so we can peg and secure with ropes. In the event this space is not available we are certified and insured to cook in a ventilated indoor space. Above 40 mph winds would require an indoor space.
Usually heavy rain is only a nuisance however we cannot cook on flooded fields due to the instability.
If the met office is predicting either of these situations we will contact you to make arrangements.
We cannot be held responsible for inconveniences caused by freak weather events including but not limited to hailstorms, tornados, earthquakes or heatwaves.

Mutual Force Majeure
We cannot accept liability or pay compensation where the “performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.” Such events may include but are not limited to war, civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disaster, road traffic accidents, global pandemics, sudden illness or death, hazardous weather conditions or similar events outside our control. We accept your right to apply Force Majeur to cancel your booking at short notice due to circumstances outside of your control, and in such cases your deposit would be refunded.

Acceptance and updates
In confirming your booking you have deemed to accept our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions at any point
